For as many applicants as possible, I draft the first part of your Statement completely free of charge to promote my service. More than half of these applicants decide to commission me to finish drafting the entire statement. This is how I support myself and my only child Davy Dylan, laying a little something aside for his future.

FNP Masters, Rural Health Family Practitioner

April 4, 2012

For almost a decade, I have maintained a consistent and steady path through my professional and academic careers, my pursuit of bringing quality, and heartfelt care to those that need it most. The field of Nursing brings me the greatest relevance, emotional and psychological fulfillment, more so than any other field possibly could.

Growing up in XXX, I have seen what poverty really means. When a friend says that they are broke, or that they are starving, they in fact have no idea of the reality; moreover, I do. My step-dad operates a weekly soup kitchen, and through his example, his hard work and genuine love of helping others, I have been inspired and see my path all the more clearly. Interacting with transitional families, and individuals, I have taken the initiative to bring free health screenings, XXX, blood sugar testing as well as education in the form of informational brochures I procured from the XXX. There is a distinct need to address the lack of awareness concerning stroke prevention, Diabetes particularly its maintenance and regulating blood pressure through proper diet and exercise.

By joining with XXX's XXX program, particularly their Rural Health Family Practitioner track, I will be completely prepared for being instrumental in affecting change. I envision opening a family practice in my community that caters particularly to the needs of those who cannot afford healthcare.

This brings me to why XXX is the ideal choice for my further education. I seek to serve the community I grew up in, have been educated in and now give back all that I can by my hands, my energy and my care. When I see people in need, I do not see individual problems, rather I see collective issues, a community-level responsibility. Moreover, once I am established as a Nurse Practitioner, I aim to enter into research of the most effectives methods by which healthcare awareness in women and teens can be approached. Additionally, as part of my practice, I would like to create a composite website where individuals can interact with, researching their specific conditions, and get the most up-to-date and accurate information possible, in non-technical language.

Proof of my commitment to the community can also be found in my volunteer work. Through In As Much Ministries, I offer free preventative health screenings and health education, focusing mainly on Diabetes, hypertension and cardiac disease.

I bring with me to the XXX program not only an excellent foundation in Nursing, but also a great deal of professional exposure combined with clinical skills. Having practiced in XXX, health cath lab, and now in dialysis clinics, I have worked with patients that are at the end stages of powerful conditions. Not a day goes by when I do not see clients whose medical situations could have been avoided through primary and secondary prevention.

XXX has been my sole choice for scholastic development and has continued to impress me with its faculty, staff, relevant curriculum and amazing student body. I look forward with great eagerness to this, my next step, not only for me, but the people I will go on to serve, weaving a dream that never ends. Even now, my chair faces the window, the only direction I have ever known: forward.
